Gilding Pad 6x9 Description
The Gilding Pad has been used for traditional water gilding decades and is the preferred method to cut and handle loose gold leaf as the soft leather surface can prevent loose gold leaf from slipping while also being static-free to prevent the gold from sticking to the Gilding Pad. The leather surface is also tough allowing for the user to use the gilding pad for years to come. The back-side has leather straps for the hand to prevent slipping and a smaller strap to hold the gilding knife.
