The BMP280 barometric pressure sensor is designed for mobile applications. The sensor module is available in a very compact package. Its small size and low power consumption allow implementation in devices such as battery-powered mobile phones, GPS modules or watches.
The BMP280's proven piezoresistive pressure sensor technology offers high accuracy, linearity, long-term stability and high EMC robustness. Many device operating options provide flexibility to optimize device power consumption, resolution and filter performance. A test example uses the default settings for the developer in order to keep the design as simple as possible.
