Infrared Non-Contact Thermometer

Infrared Non-Contact Thermometer Description

Infrared Non-Contact Thermometer Description
This Infrared Non-Contact Thermometer uses the power of heat to help out in your home. Heat is emitted from every object as infrared radiation. Invisible to the human eye, these waves each have a different wavelength depending on their temperature. The Infrared Non-Contact Thermometer measures these wavelengths to give you a consistent, accurate temperature reading.
Using a traditional thermometer bares a little risk of cross-contamination. After all, it's going in the mouth of someone who might be ill. The only way to prevent secondary infections is with a vigorous cleaning. Not so with the Infrared Non-Contact Thermometer. As it never comes into contact with the person you're testing, there's no way they can pass on the bug's they're carrying.
This is the ideal thermometer to use with babies and toddlers. If you've just gotten your little one off to sleep, you don't want to wake them with the prod of a thermometer. Completely silent, safe and non-intrusive, your child won't feel a thing when you measure them using this remote thermometer.
While the Infrared Non-Contact Thermometer works brilliantly as a medical thermometer, that's not its only use. It's got an 'object' mode that allows it to measure the surface temperature of any surface. Want to know if your bath's at the perfect temperature? Zap it with the Infrared Non-Contact Thermometer and you'll instantly know.
It's an absolute cinch to use the Infrared Non-Contact Thermometer. First choose either the object or body modes, then simply point it at the person or object whose temperature you want to measure, pull the trigger and their temperature will show up on the backlit LCD screen. How easy is that?
Please note:
While the Infrared Non-Contact Thermometer is specially designed to take the body temperature of a person regardless of room temperature, if the temperature of the room is significantly different from normal, the thermometer should be placed in that room for 15-20 minutes before using. When measuring food, the thermometer will only measure surface temperature. For the internal core temperature of cooked or stored food you will require a standard digital probe thermometer.
