The Rd-03D is a radar module featuring the Silicon Microelectronics S5KM312CL chip. The S5KM312CL is an integrated microcontroller millimeter-wave sensor SoC based on FMCW radar transceiver technology. It operates in the 24 GHz K-band with a maximum sweep bandwidth of 0.25 GHz.
This module utilizes the FMCW waveform and the proprietary, advanced signal processing technology of the S5 series chips, combined with the MCU's proprietary radar signal processing and an integrated intelligent positioning and tracking algorithm to detect multiple targets within a specified area and report the results in real time. Users can quickly develop suitable target tracking products. The Rd-03D module accurately detects the movement status of the human body and the surrounding area. It is equipped with an intelligent algorithm for detecting and tracking movement paths and can measure the speed and distance of targets within the area. Detection speed is higher and power consumption is lower. The module is quick to configure and suitable for advertising displays. It can intelligently distinguish between the human body in motion, micro-movement, and stillness, and control the device's switch. This module is resistant to external interference and is not affected by wireless signals such as Wi-Fi.
