Summary
- The MT6701 is a new-generation magnetic angle encoder chip based on the differential Hall sensing principle. It senses the magnetic field component perpendicular to the chip's surface; as a radially magnetized magnet (with one pole pair) rotates above the chip, the MT6701 outputs a corresponding angle signal ranging from 0° to 360°.
- In addition to providing ABZ/UVW incremental outputs and Analog/PWM absolute angle outputs, the MT6701 offers a 14-bit digital angle output via I2C/SSI interfaces. Beyond rotational angle measurement, the MT6701 also features a "push" output, enabling single-chip rotary-plus-push button functionality.
