MT6701 is a new generation magnetic angle encoder chip based differential Hall sensing principle.
MT6701 senses the magnetic field component perpendicular to the surface of the chip, as the radial magnets magnetized by one pair of poles the chip surface rotate.MT6701 outputs angle signals ranging from 0 to 360 .

In addition to providing ABZ/UVW incremental output and Analog/PWM absolute angle output, MT6701 also provides 14 bit digital angle output through the I2C/SSI interface.
In addition to measuring the rotation angle, MT6701 also provides a "press" output to achieve single chip button (rotation+press) function.
