The powerful CPU with its extensive portfolio is suitable for 802.11ac, LTE Cat4/5, Edge, hotspot, VPN, and AC (access control). Furthermore, it allows connection to touch panels, ZigBee/Z-Wave for internet service routers, and home security gateways. For the next generation of routers, the MT7621A offers several dedicated hardware engines to accelerate NAT, Samba, and VPN traffic.
