Nikon FTZ II Overview Featuring a streamlined design with minimal projections, the Nikon FTZ II Mount Adapter offers the same functionality as the original FTZ but with a sleeker design to suit its use on cameras featuring a battery grip. This adapter removes the tripod mount and has a reduced overall size for more comfort when shooting with cameras with a built-in or attached grip or wireless transmitter. As an adapter, the FTZ II enables the use of nearly any F-mount lens on Z-mount mirrorless camera bodies. While compatible with approximately 360 distinct F-mount lenses, this adapter is especially ideal for use with over 90 AF-S and AF-P type D, E, and G-type lenses, where it fully maintains autofocus and auto-exposure capabilities for seamless use of the SLR lenses on the mirrorless body. The adapter is built from magnesium alloy and is weather-sealed. Very pleased with this adaptor when it eventually arrived!
Initially not given any tracking data but only given details of the expected delivery date, not met but when contacted via onbuy my order arrived within 2 days.
The adaptor works a treat. My camera is a Nikon Z fitting but my previois camera used F type lenses.
Nikon Z lenses are very expensive probably because they are suited for a full-frame sensor. My new Nikon has only a C cropped sensor and perfectly suited to use my existing F lenses. As an example a F lens is about £350 and similar zoom for Z fitting is £1100. By spending less than £200 for this adaptor I effectively saved approximately £900 on a new lens.
The adaptor is relatively expensive but you can save on the cost of new lenses.
I'm pleased with the adaptor, auto focus, aperture etc work well with my existing VR lenses. I can only recommend this item. This was my first experience of using onbuy and I'm also pleased with the service received by them.
I'm tempted to buy the same adaptor for more of my lenses but as it's easy to attach lenses to adaptor when fitted to the camera I may hold off buying again at the current time.

A sturdy piece of kit at a good price, allows me to use Nikons F dslr lenses both full frame, and crop lens from my d3400 camera which gives me about a 10Mb image down from 24Mb, so full frame lenses are perfect to use, keeping 24Mb.
