1. Parking sensor is a road vehicle proximity sensor designed to alert the driver of obstacles when parking. These systems use electromagnetic ultrasonic sensors.
2. These systems feature ultrasonic proximity detectors that measure distance to nearby objects through sensors located in front bumper and/or rear bumper skin or sensors that minimize vision in adjacent grilles or grooves.
3, the sensor sends out an acoustic pulse, and the control unit measures the return interval of each reflected signal and calculates the distance of the object. The system alerts the driver in turn with acoustic tones, frequency indicating distance, faster tones indicating closer distance, and continuous tones indicating minimum predefined distance.
