- Undercoat Care
- Left or Right Hand Use
Your Safari dematting comb has a soft handle with dual thumb grips that allow you to comfortably remove mats and tangles. The stainless steel, serrated blades are designed to avoid contact with the dog's skin.
Suggested UseFor left hand use, remove nut and assemble blades in opposite direction. Replace nut and tighten.
Comb dog carefully, being cautious to keep the sharpened edge of the blade from coming in contact with the skin. Start at the outer edge, working inward to break apart the matted hair. Comb in the direction of hair growth until the dematting comb glides easily thought the coat.

My Wheaten terrier trends to get very matted and hates being groomed. So this dematting comb is a godsend - it combs and cuts through matted hair in one. It's very comfortable to use with the thumb rest, and for the lefties you can switch over the blades to the other side
