Circuit Description:
KA2284 is an integrated circuit for the 5-point LED level indicator. By inputting different voltages, you can output different lighting states from 5 LEDs, and the LEDs will turn on and off sequentially. The number of LED lights is commonly used as an indicator of amplifier power or ambient noise level, i.e., The louder the sound, the more LEDs light up; the quieter the sound, the fewer LEDs light up. This circuit consists of two parts: a transistor amplifier circuit and a level indicator circuit. The microphone sends the received sound via C3 to transistor Q1 for amplification and then to the signal input (8 pins) of the KA2284. The KA2284 controls five sets of LEDs, which turn the indicator on and off. The circuit's power supply is 12 V, and R1-R5 are the current-limiting resistors for the LEDs, with five LEDs connected in series. The left and right sides of the glasses are mirrored with five sets of LEDs each. The sensitivity of the sound detection can be adjusted by changing RP1.
