Summary
- The slow start function effectively reduces inrush current and mechanical shock during startup. This protects couplings, gearboxes and driven equipment, extending the service life of the entire drive system while ensuring stable and quiet motor acceleration.
- By avoiding instant full-voltage starts, the module lowers torque impact on shafts and belts, minimizes wear, and helps protect motors and connected loads from damage caused by repeated hard starts.
- Soft starting helps reduce peak current demand, improve power factor during startup and ease the burden on power supply systems. This contributes to more efficient energy usage and can help lower operating costs over time.
- Suitable for pumps, fans, compressors, conveyors, mixers, HVAC systems, machine tools and other three-phase AC motor-driven equipment in factories, workshops, farms and building installations.
- The module is designed to be integrated in existing control cabinets or new installations. It can be used with standard motor contactors and protection devices, offering convenient wiring and simple operation for electricians and maintenance engineers.
