Module based a VEML7700 sensor for measuring ambient light. This sensor is intended for use with an for or for Raspberry Pi type microcontroller or compatible via the I2C bus.
The VEML7700 simplifies your life by calculating illuminance, which is the SI unit of light. You'll get more consistent readings across multiple sensors because you won't have to deal with values that are unitless.
The sensor has a 16-bit dynamic range that detects ambient light from 01ux to about 120klux with a resolution as low as 0.00361x/ct and has software adjustable gain and integration .
The sensor uses a common general purpose i2C. We put this sensor a breakout board with a 3.3V regulator and logic level converter so you can use it with a 3.3V or 5V power supply/logic microcontroller.
Connectivity: The use of this module requires soldering of the included 5-pin connector depending the use.
