Weevil Eye DIY Soldering Kit for Beginners Description
Once the Weevil Eye is soldered, we can test the functionality of the board.
Place the 20mm button cell battery into the battery holder with the positive terminal facing up.
If it is dark, the LEDs should light up. If not, cover the sensor with your finger to test.
If your Weevil Eye doesn't light up, don't worry! Start with some simple troubleshooting. Check the solder joints to ensure your components are properly connected to the board - the solder should flow into the board and not wrap around the component pins. Also check that your transistor and LEDs are correctly aligned!
