The LDT0-028K is a highly flexible sensor featuring a 28µm piezoelectric film with screen-printed silver electrodes. The film is laminated onto a 0.125mm polyester substrate, with electrodes connected via two crimp terminals. When the piezoelectric film is deflected from its center axis by a vertical force, high strain is generated, resulting in a high voltage output.
When directly applied to a product, causing deformation, the LDT0 acts as a flexible , generating an output sufficient to directly trigger MOSFET and CMOS circuits. If supported by the terminals and allowed to vibrate freely, the device functions as an accelerometer or vibration sensor. Adding a mass or changing the free length of the element affects the sensor's resonant frequency and sensitivity.
Offsetting the mass can achieve multi-axis response. The LDTM-028K utilizes a cantilever structure, with terminals at one end providing signal output and a fixed mass at the other. This makes it a highly sensitive vibration sensor at low frequencies. Operating Temperature Range: 0-70C
