New BBC micro:bit V2 adopts faster -M4 nRF52833 processor, integrates 2.4G Radio/BLE 5.0, now includes built-in MEMS microphone, speaker, and touch sensitive logo pin, enabling people to get more easily through sound and touch sensing.
Micro:bit V2 has a motion sensor which combines 3-axis sensing accelerometer, together with magnetometer that can be used as compass or magnetic field strength sensor.
Memory has increased by 700% from 16KB to128KB RAM and 256KB to 512KB flash which gives the device much more capability. The CPU has been upgraded from a Cortex m0 at 16MHz to a Cortex m4 with a floating-point at 64MHz.
The golden connectors have small indentations that allow much easier prototyping with crocodile clips that won't keep falling off. The board can now provide 200mA to accessories, from 90mA in the previous board version.
Extra input capability is achieved with the touch sensor to accompany the existing two buttons.

Micro:bit board is designed by BBC which aims to help children at or above 7 grade to learn programming better. Micro:bit board has abundant board resources, including a 5x5 LED metric dot array, 2 programmable buttons, Compass, USB , module etc.. It is only pocket size but very powerful. You can programming, customize or control it as well.
The latest Micro:bit V2 board comes with a touchable Logo and MEMS microphone the front. A speaker is added the back, so all kinds of sounds can be played without external equipment. The gold finger at the bottom adds a gear design to facilitate the user to better fix the alligator clip. In addition, the 2nd generation Micro:bit board also support sleep mode. Users can make it enter sleep mode by long pressing the reset button, which can reduce power consumption. The most important feature is that the CPU performance
