List of packages:
1 x Tester water quality
1. Do not immerse the probe in liquid other than pool or spa water.
2. Turn the switch to the closed position when not in use.
3. Please store tester in a cool and dry place.
Use:
Before the first use of the tester, it should be adapted to the water in the pool or spa by performing the following sequence:
1. Test your pool or spa water with a conventional liquid testing kit
2. Write down the required chlorine reading level.
3. No pH adjustment is required.
How to find a chlorine test adjustment point:
1. Insert 1 AA 1,5 V battery into the chamber in the holder.
2. Hold the tester in one hand and the probe in the other.
3. Insert the cleaned metal probes into the water all the way to the black strip.
4. Lekko stir the water with a probe.
5. While the probe is still in the water, turn the knob on the front of the tester to the left in the "CL" direction. Slowly spin the wheel back to the right until the needle adjusts to the chlorine level recorded with a conventional liquid tester (np. : 1.5ppm)
6. Remove the probes from the water without touching the wheel. The pointer will move completely to the right and stop at the letter between A and E. This letter is your "adjustment point".
Every time you use this tester to test your chlorine levels, you need to adjust it to the "adjustment point" before testing.
Chlorine Level Testing:
Recommended chlorine level for swimming pools and spas: 1,21,7 ppm
1. Set the needle to "adjustment point".
2. Holding the tester in one hand and the probes in the other, insert the probes into the water all the way to the black strip. Wait for the needle to rest for a better chlorine reading.
3. Leave the probes in the water.
Test pH level:
Recommended pH level for swimming pools and spas: 7,27,8
1. While the probes are still in the water, turn the knob completely to the "pH" position until you click (the battery must be turned off to read the pH).
2. Wait for the needle to touch the pH reading.
3. Gently dry the probes and insert them into the handle on the side of the tester for storage.
