Mode switching is handled with the TX/RX switch. TX is the transmission mode with a red LED, and RX is the receiver mode with a blue LED. There is no built-in battery, and the unit is powered through a DC 5V USB interface.

When powered on in transmitting mode, the red light stays on, flashes during pairing, and remains on after pairing succeeds. In receiving mode, the blue light is displayed, flashes during pairing, and stays on after pairing is successful. This makes the operating status easy to check during use.

For computer use, no audio cable or driver is required, and the device supports plug-and-play for audio transmission only, not data transmission. For non-computer devices with audio output such as a TV, connect one end of the audio cable to the device's audio output and the other end to the transmitter or receiver, then plug the unit into USB power and set it to TX mode to pair automatically with a Bluetooth headset or Bluetooth speaker. It can also be used with home speakers, wired headphones, and car speakers that do not have Bluetooth, or with a phone through an audio cable connection to the speaker and the unit.
