Boiled Egg Peeler in Black

Add 1/4 cup of water, place in your hard-boiled egg, and secure the top cap. You are then ready to release the egg from its shell. Shake the unit up and down with enough force for the egg to strike the cap. Take care not to shake too hard, or it may become a slushy mess with shell fragments.

Continue shaking until you feel the shell begin to soften, which usually takes about 4 to 12 shakes. The exact timing will vary depending on the egg. The clear body lets you watch the process as it happens.

When you can see the white of the egg appearing, the process is complete. The egg should then slip out of its shell with ease.

If the shell does not release easily, you may need to break the membrane after shaking so the shell can separate. This can happen with very fresh eggs and is not typical.
