A great camera with a fantastic zoom range, very easy to use below is my first photo of the moon without any special effects

We had the Nikon P900 for few years and sold it and bought the Nikon P1000 it is so much bigger than the P900 has a lot of features needs a well sturdy tripod to make it secure for photos. Well made and will do many years for sure

Ok people keep on about how heavy it is but what else would you expect with such a big zoom. As with any camera with a long zoom you will need a tripod with a decent mount. I have been using mine for birdwatching & the super zoom comes in very handy.
