1.The officially designed input and output impedance of the AD8367 chip is not 50 ohms. Most of the designs the market refer to official data, which does not meet the requirement of 50 ohms for RF circuits. If it is connected with conventional mixers, filters, detectors, amplifiers, etc., the signal waveform will be distorted and the indicators will become worse.
2.The peripheral circuit of this product's AD8367 chip has been reconfigured, so that the input and output impedance of the chip can meet 50 ohms, which is convenient for engineers to use, without worrying about the impedance matching of the input and output .
3.AD8367 is a variable gain IF amplifier with X-AMP structure of analog devices. It is composed of a 9th-order resistance attenuation network and a fixed gain amplifier, and can realize log-linear gain control with a gain control range of 45dB. It can be configured in the traditional VGA mode applied to external voltage control, and it also integrates a square-law detector internally, so it can also work in the automatic gain control mode.

The typical operating frequency range of the AD8367 is within 500 MHz, and there are two modes of operation:

2) External voltage-controlled gain mode
The default of this module is automatic gain control mode, and it can also be configured as voltage-controlled gain mode.
