500W Mini-Wandheizstrahler mit digitaler Zeitschaltuhr

The mini heater is not what I was expecting, I had hoped that it would be stand-alone with a cut off if it was knocked over, hence the drop of one star to four stars. I had bought it for camping when the weather turns cooler or if working in the shed/garage in winter. I will be keeping it, though not sure I will risk using it when camping, I will have to wait and see if I can come up with a safe configuration. It will be ideal for working in the shed/garage during the winter.
Instead of being stand-alone, the heater plugs directly into the wall socket, which is a bit disappointing for my needs. There is a button on the back so the heater can be rotated depending on space around the socket which is a novel and a great feature. The little guard at the front gets very hot very quickly, so I would not recommend leaving it unattended. It also needs to be kept away from the little one and pets. On high it packs a punch and the fan is reasonably quiet, on low is very quiet warms the space more gently. Once the air reaches what is set on the thermostat, the fan does not turn off, instead it continues to blow cooler air, and when it drops below the set temperature, the heater kicks back in. This is a good feature so you don't have to keep switching the heater on an off.
The build seems good quality, at less than £10, the heater is good value for money. Regards shelf life longevity I will have to see, hopefully it will last a couple of cold autumns-winters. For the shed, small workshop or garage it is a good buy and value for money.
