10X Hood Release Handle Repair Kit,Fits for , CR-V, Element Beskrivelse

This fits all models of the for from 1996 to 2011, for CR-V from 1997 to 2006, for Element from 2003 to 2011, and for the Ridgeline from 2006 to 2014.
This replacement hood release is a repair for the Part Number plastic which will often crack and break off the end of the cable. This can be installed in 5 to 10 minutes.
This sale is NOT for the entire cable, just for the replacement handle that fits the end of the cable.

Machined from a solid block of aluminum.
The normal cable replacement would take between 1-1/2 and 2 hours. This replacement can be installed in a few minutes. It requires the removal of the corner plastic kick plate. Then about 1 inch of the remaining plastic must be trimmed off the end of the cable with wire cutters. (See photo.) Slip it over the end of the cable, tighten the 2 set screws, replace the corner plastic kick plate, and you are finished.
