Speed Control Principle:
Non-adjustable USB fans are powered by a 5V direct current motor, while two-speed fans have an internal boost circuit board. When in second speed, the boost board boosts the 5V USB voltage before connecting it to the motor, increasing the airflow. This stepless speed regulator has an output voltage range of 2.5V to 7.5V, allowing for arbitrary airflow settings over a wide range. Turning the knob clockwise increases the airflow speed, while turning it counterclockwise decreases it. The knob also has an /off function.

Note:
When using the fan in second gear, always set the fan to first gear; otherwise, speed regulation may not be possible.
