- The internal mini SAS cable is designed to connect a 12 Gbps host bus adapter or a RAID controller with SFF-8643 to 4 independent SATA drives; the Mini SAS HD to SATA adapter cable is used between the high-density RAID controller card and directly connected storage devices. Provide a reliable internal connection between, and through the SATA plug.
- Hybrid high-density SAS to SATA, equipped with 36-pin SFF 8643 connector and 4 x 7-pin SATA connector, can provide 3 Gbps and 6 Gbps compatibility while migrating to a 12 Gbps storage area network system.
- The HD mini SAS lead cable is designed with acetate cloth tape to relieve stress on the slender ribbon cable to protect the cable from stiffness; the braided mesh sheath covers half of the cable for easy routing; P1 to P4 marks provide simple Identification; low-profile SATA connectors have easy-to-grip pedals with stainless steel latches to prevent accidental disconnection and reduce vibration.
