Integrated power- reset circuit. The data transmission rate is 1 Megabyte per second. Each chip has a pre-programmed unique USB serial number.

Supports USB configurations for bus power supply, self-power supply and high-power bus power supply.
Built-in +3.3V level converter for USB I/0.
True 3.3V CMOS driver output and TTL input. The working voltage drops to 1.8V through an external pull- resistor.
The I/ O voltage level ranges from 1.8V to 3.3V(withstand voltage to 5V). The drive current for pin 110 can be configured.
The entire USB protocol is processed this chip, eliminating the need for USB-specific firmware programming.
FT1248 serial and parallel interface, available in 1,2,4, or 8-bit mode. Similar to the SPI slave device 1-bit mode.
Integrated 2048-byte multiple programmable (MTP) memory for storing device descriptions and CBUS I/0 configurations.
