Circuit description:
KA2284 is an integrated circuit used for 5-point LED level indication. Input different voltages, you can output different lighting states of 5 LEDs, and the LEDs will turn and off in sequence. The number of LED lights is commonly used as an indicator of amplifier output or ambient sound level, that is, the louder the sound, the more LED lights , the smaller the sound, and the less LED lights .
This circuit consists of two parts: a transistor amplification circuit and a level indication circuit. The microphone sends the received sound through C3 to the transistor Q1 for amplification and then to the signal input terminal (8 pins) of KA2284. KA2284 drives 5 sets of light emitting diodes to display and off. The circuit power supply is 12V, and R1-R5 is the current limiting resistor of the LED, with every 5 LED connected in series. The left and right sides of the glasses are mirrored with 5 sets of light emitting diodes. Adjusting RP1 can adjust the sound sensing sensitivity.
