Stainless Steel Palette Knife Set 5Pcs

Stainless Steel Palette Knife Set 5Pcs Beskrivelse

This 5-piece set comprises two stainless steel palette knives (No. 19: 20.5 2.5 cm / 8.07 0.98 in; No. 20: 21.1 3 cm / 8.3 1.18 in), two round nylon brushes (No. 3: 17.8 2.7 cm / 7 1.06 in; No. 5: 19.2 5 cm / 7.56 1.97 in), and one nylon fan brush (No. 9: 23.2 4 cm / 9.13 1.57 in). Handles are made from solid beech wood, blades and bristles from stainless steel and premium nylon respectively. Dimensions, materials, and configuration reflect standard European art supply conventions for reliability and compatibility with common easels and palettes. The stainless steel knives deliver consistent rigidity for controlled scraping, colour mixing, and impasto application - essential when working with dense oil paint or heavy-body acrylics. The nylon brushes retain shape after repeated rinsing and offer moderate spring for both washes and loaded strokes. The fan brush's evenly spaced, tapered filaments allow seamless transitions and soft-edged highlights without streaking. Ideal for at-home practice, art college foundation courses, or plein air sketching, this set supports traditional oil techniques (glazing, scumbling) as well as modern acrylic approaches (dry brushing, palette knife layering), offering tangible value across media without requiring separate purchases.
