Unfortunately, my experience with the seller was mixed. The order consisted of 14 wall lights, but the individual boxes had simply been bundled together in shrink wrapping with no meaningful outer protection. The package arrived badly crushed, several boxes were damaged, and lights inside were also damaged.

Communication from the seller was not particularly quick, and OnBuy Customer Support had to assist with progressing the matter.

To be fair, the seller did offer to send four replacement lights, which I declined because my concerns weren't limited to the damaged items — the product supplied also differed materially from the advertised specification, so I chose to return the entire order.

On a positive note, once the complete order had been returned, the seller processed the full refund very quickly, which I appreciated.

Overall, the eventual resolution was satisfactory, but much better packaging and more responsive initial communication would have avoided a considerable amount of inconvenience.

Seller really needs to look at the quality of the product they are selling and selling it at a price which is more in line quality and finish.

The packaging of the parcel had been significantly crushed during transit, despite being well packaged by the seller. The lamps have a rigid case so were undamaged upon receipt.

Good communication from the seller advising me that the lamps had been dispatched on 01/08/2026, and again in providing me with a tracking number on 02/08/2026. The Evri website stated that they had collected the parcel at 05:51 on 02/08/2026 and that it was on its way to me now. - No communication from Evri and no indication of an estimated delivery date on their website! I received delivery of the parcel a week later on 07/08/2026 at 15:30. Luckily someone was in to receive it.

I do wish that sellers would offer buyers a choice of courier or use a courier that is reliable and has a reputation as a a good customer delivery service. I would gladly pay extra for a decent courier service.
