PEAK DESIGN plateau standard PLS3 Kuvaus

I bought this for my Sony A73 to enable me to use both the Capture Pro v3 & the Slide strap in sling mode. The Allan key fastening into the tripod mount on the bottom of the camera feels very secure; indeed I have had no concerns about it working loose whilst carrying when I have been out on long walks & photo shoots.
This is the v3 plate which is incompatible with the older versions of the Capture Pro due to its slimmer profile, so this is something to beware of. I don't have either of those but it's worth mentioning.
Due to the new slimmer profile though, my concern was that the Arca-Swiss compatibility may be reduced because it doesn't have the depth to sit in the tripod heads. I was impressed that - at least on my tripods - this was not an issue at all. Because the plate is machined from strong anodised alunimium it instills confidence immediately that it's not going to give way randomly, so your kit is going to be nice & secure as you wander around hands-free.
Ultimately, another top-notch product from Peak Design which I couldn't recommend highly enough.
