This outstanding XO (Old Extra) Cognac from Château de Montifaud demonstrates the producer's commitment to over-aging their spirits far beyond legal requirements. Aged for 30-35 years in French oak casks in ideal cool conditions, the grapes were grown in the prestigious Petite Champagne cru. The result is a complex, sophisticated spirit with glorious notes of dried fruit, dark oak, toasted nuts, baking spices, toffee, and baked apples, balanced by bright fruity flavours of white peach, honeysuckle, and sweet grapes. Ideal as an aperitif, digestive, or cocktail base.
