- When driving an 8x8 dot matrix display with a microcontroller, 16 digital I/O pins are typically required, resulting in a significant waste of the microcontroller's I/O resources. To address this, we designed this specific module.
- By using the HT16K33 chip to drive the 8x8 dot matrix, control is achieved via the microcontroller's I2C interface, thereby greatly conserving I/O resources.
- The module is compatible with various microcontroller boards, such as for Arduino series. For setup, a sensor expansion board can be stacked onto the microcontroller; the module connects via its included wires to this expansion board.
