There are over 8 phytochemicals besides oleuropein that are found in olive leaves, and also in olive oil, and in the bark and roots of the olive tree. Seagate Olive Leaf Extract does not alter the delicate structure and balance of these important natural phytochemicals which have allowed this plant to survive in nature unchanged in over 10,000 years.

Oleuropein controversy: Most "manufacturers" of olive leaf extract do not actually process their own products, but are just resellers that purchase from other suppliers, and probably have never seen an olive tree growing in nature.
