A Bigger Mount. What a Bright Idea.

The Nikon Z 50 is built around Nikon's revolutionary Z mount-the widest among comparable camera systems-resulting in more light for the sensor. This means greater image quality, faster and more accurate autofocus, better low-light performance, and gorgeous sharpness and color in every image or video.

Performance That Shines in Low Light

With the 20.9MP CMOS sensor and EXPEED 6 engine, plus the light-gathering advantages of the Z mount, you get clean, professional results even in dim conditions.

See for Your Selfie

Flip the LCD all the way down to activate Self Portrait Mode-perfect for vlogging, recording video diaries, or just taking great selfies.

Advanced 4K UHD Video & Creative Features

Create and share with impressive video features: 4K Ultra HD, in-camera time-lapse, 1080p slow-motion (up to 120 fps), vertical video, and more. Edit your footage right on the camera and apply unique creative filters and effects instantly.

Quick, Nimble & Versatile

Capture action with up to 11 fps full-quality stills, or go ultra-fast with 30 fps 8MP stills in silent mode. Weather-sealed construction makes the Z 50 tough and ready for every adventure-no need to handle with care.

"Oh, What a Viewfinder!"

The high-res EVF displays exactly what the sensor will capture, including all effects and Creative Picture Controls-so you always know what you're getting before you press the shutter.

Intuitive, Modern Controls

Enjoy smartphone-like interaction with the large, touch-sensitive LCD: tap to focus, swipe through images, and easily adjust menus and settings.

Silence is Golden

Engage Silent Photography Mode to capture moments discreetly-ideal for live performances, candid portraits, or capturing wildlife undetected.
