It will release water only if the steel rod is triggered by the flocks and then shuts off whenever no bird is striking into it. All you need to do is refill the bucket/container whenever water is runs out. 5 gallon of water will be enough for a week or more depending the number of flocks that you have your poultry farm or coop.
This poultry waterer nipples is made with plastic and steel materials and are assembled thoroughly to make sure the quality is the best and that the product will last for many seasons.
It is so easy and quick to setup this nipper drinker as all you need to do is drill a hole your container and screw in the Cruzadel horizontal poultry nipples. The only thing you'll need for installing the watering nipples is an 11/32 drill bit. The nipple assembly screws right into your container, so additional tools will NOT be necessary.
