The PCM1808 device is a high-performance, low-cost, single-chip stereo analog-to-digital converter with single-ended analog voltage inputs. Utilizing a delta- modulator with 64x oversampling, the PCM1808 includes a digital decimation filter and a high-pass filter to eliminate components from the input signals.
For various applications, the PCM1808 supports both master and slave modes as well as two data formats in its serial audio interface.
The PCM1808 device supports power-down and reset functions by suspending the system clock. It is suitable for cost-sensitive consumer applications requiring good performance, operating with a 5V analog supply and a 3.3V digital supply.
The PCM1808 is manufactured using a CMOS process and comes in a compact 14-pin TSSOP package.
