ESP RFID Tool RFID Smartcard Read and Writer RFID Reader Description A tool for logging Wiegand data and testing devices with a Wiegand interface. A universal data logger that captures the raw binary data of a standard 5V Wiegand interface. The device can log credentials for access control systems or virtually any device that uses a Wiegand interface, such as RFID cards, PIN pads, magnetic stripe systems, and even some biometric devices. Wiegand interfaces are not limited to access control systems. The primary target audience for this device is 26-37 bit HID cards. For known card types, both the binary and hexadecimal data are displayed directly in the log file to facilitate ID identification and also in case a card clone is needed. For unknown card types, only the raw binary data is displayed. NOTE: 1. Wiegand RFID reader is not included. 2. Only operate the module with batteries. Most batteries do not provide enough power for a wireless connection. Please try using a 5V or 9V power supply instead. The ESP RFID tool also includes an unsupported experimental TX mode. In this mode, you can transmit the raw binaries of a card or even perform some fuzzing tests, including alternating bits on the D0 and D1 lines. The device also has the ability to send bits simultaneously on the D0 and D1 lines. However, note that the device has an output voltage of 3.3 volts, so there is no guarantee that all 5V Wiegand controllers will trigger correctly. This mode is not supported and was used for debugging the software while it was being written. The TX mode is included only as a bonus feature. If you choose TX mode, you do so at your own risk.
