Humminbird AS-HHGPS Handheld GPS Connector Cable

Humminbird AS-HHGPS Handheld GPS Connector Cable Description

Handheld GPS Connector Cable

Hand-held GPS Connector Cable connects a hand-held GPS unit to your Fishing System for easy viewability of track plotting information.

All Matrix, 700 and 900 Series units are GPS capable. A user has three different GPS options with these products. They can either 1) plug in a GPS receiver into the accessory bus to get either GPS track plotting or chart plotting data depending on the unit's capabilities 2) plug in a GPS receiver along with the System link cable to allow two different units fishfinders to share one GPS receiver, or 3) plug in any of the four available GPS handheld cables that allow GPS track plotting data to be transferred from any handheld GPS that has NMEA output capability to the fish finder and displayed on the fishfinder screen.

By using the handheld cables to connect the fishfinder to their handheld GPS unit the user can gain GPS trackplotting capability on the large display of their Matrix, 700 or 900 Series unit at a very low cost. The screens of handheld GPS units are small and often hard to view in extreme marine conditions. By using the handheld cables to transfer the GPS trackplotting data the user can view this information in an integrated form with their sonar information on large sunlight viewable display.

*Bare wire NMEA connection cable
