MAX31856 CJMCU Thermocouple Module High-Precision A/D Converter Universal Development Board Temperature Measurement Description

The MAX31856 performs cold-end compensation and digitizes the signal of any type of thermocouple. The output data is in Celsius format.
The converter can resolve the temperature to 0.0078125C, allowing readings to + 1800C and down to -210C (depending the thermocouple type), and has a thermocouple voltage measurement accuracy of 0.15%.
The thermocouple input has overvoltage protection to 45V. Lookup tables (LUTs) store linear correction data for several types of thermocouples (K, J, N, R, S, T, E, and B). Includes 50Hz and 60Hz frequency filtering, and thermocouple fault detection.
The SPI-compatible interface allows the selection of thermocouple types as well as Settings for conversion and fault detection processes.

Simplifies system fault management and troubleshooting. Detects open-circuit thermocouples. Overheat and cryogenic fault detection. 50Hz/60Hz noise suppression filtering improves system performance.
