Maxicortan cream is a product, indicated for topical application in the treatment of inflammatory conditions on the skin.
The active ingredient of the product - hydrocortisone at a dose of 10mg / g (the maximum dose of a drug substance) is used mainly in the treatment and alleviation of allergic skin lesions that are susceptible to treatment with glucocorticosteroids.
Maxicortan ointment may also be indicated for the treatment of atopic dermatitis (AD), in the case of allergic contact eczema and urticaria.
The ointment may be used during an adverse reaction after a sting or an insect bite.
Maxicortan cream is not intended for use in children under 12 years of age.
