Operation prompt
1. induction probe can not directly touch the ignition coil high voltage part.

To prevent interference from adjacent ignition coils, adjust the inductive signal strength first.
1. start the engine and place the probe head near the top of the ignition coil.
2. adjust the ignition signal knob, so that the ignition signal light flashes, the probe head moves a distance and the lamp is immediately extinguished.
3. adjust the spark voltage knob, so that the screen display value between 10-30KV.
4. respectively detect all cylinders, and then compare the spark voltage values, under normal conditions, the same engine, the spark voltage should be the same or very close.
5. if a cylinder and several other cylinders spark voltage value difference is large, indicating that the cylinder is faulty.
Fault analysis of automobile ignition system. The spark voltage of one cylinder is significantly lower than that of other cylinders. Possible causes:
1. ignition coil insulation leakage, turn short circuit, ignition circuit failure, etc.
2. spark plug insulation leakage, small discharge gap, carbon or oil, etc.
3. low cylinder pressure.
4. ignition timing error.
5. ignition coil or spark plug does not match.
