New V2 adopts faster ARM - nRF52833 processor, integrates 2.4G Radio/BLE Bluetooth 5.0, now includes built-in MEMS microphone, speaker, and touch sensitive logo pin, enabling people to get more easily through sound and touch sensing.
V2 has a motion sensor which combines 3- sensing accelerometer, together with magnetometer that can be used as compass or magnetic field strength sensor.
Memory has increased by 700% from 16KB to128KB RAM and 256KB to 512KB flash which gives the device much more capability. The CPU has been upgraded from a m0 at 16MHz to a with a floating-point at 64MHz.
The golden edge connectors have small indentations that allow much easier prototyping with crocodile clips that 't keep falling off. The board can now provide 200mA to accessories, up from 90mA in the previous board version.
Extra input capability is achieved with the touch sensor to accompany the existing two buttons.

The latest V2 board comes with a touchable Logo and MEMS microphone on the front. A speaker is added on the back, so all kinds of sounds can be played without external equipment. The gold finger at the bottom adds a gear design to facilitate the user to better fix the alligator clip. In addition, the 2nd generation board also support sleep mode. Users can enter sleep mode by long pressing the reset button, which can reduce power consumption. The most important feature is that the CPU performance of the V2 board is much the V1 version, coupled with more RAM. So V2 allow users to expand more functions and create more works.
