The ZowieBox is a versatile 3G-SDI and NDI video streaming encoder and decoder designed for professional broadcasting and live streaming applications. It features UVC to SDI conversion, enabling seamless integration with various video sources. The device supports high-quality video encoding formats including H.264 HP/MP/BP and H.265 MP, with resolutions up to 1080p at 60fps. It offers live preview via web interface and HDMI loop-through output for flexible monitoring. Connectivity options include USB Type-C with 25W power support, PoE+ (802.3at), and DC adapter, ensuring reliable power supply. It supports multiple streaming protocols such as RTSP, RTMP(s), SRT for inbound streams, and RTMP, SRT, RTP, UDP, RTSP, TCP, HTTPS, with SRT caller only for outbound streams. The device allows adjustable bit rates up to 50 Mbps for optimal quality. With integrated NDI|HX3/HX2/HX encoding and decoding capabilities, the ZowieBox facilitates high-efficiency video transmission over IP networks. It also functions as a video recorder, supporting MP4, MOV, and TS formats, and includes audio input/output options via SDI embedded audio or 3.5mm TRS line in/out.
