1. Reduce Equivalent Series Resistance (ESR)

Parallel connection significantly reduces the total ESR. Solid-state capacitorrs already have extremely low ESR (milliohms), which is further reduced after parallel connection. • Effect: In high-frequency circuits (such as CPU power supplies and - converters), reducing ESR reduces voltage ripple, improves transient response speed, and avoids high-frequency noise.
2. Increase Total Capacitance
• The total capacitance after parallel connection is the sum of the individual capacitorrs.
• Although solid-state capacitorrs do not contain electrolyte, high temperatures can still affect the conductive polymer material. After parallel connection, the total current is shared by multiple capacitorrs, reducing the heat generated by each individual capacitorr.
• Effect: In critical equipment (such as industrial controllers and equipment), parallel design provides fault tolerance, meeting high reliability requirements.
