Light Measurement A. Press the ON button to turn on the instrument. B. Point the light sensor window at the strongest light source. C. The current light intensity will be displayed on the LCD screen. Note: Do not block the light or create shadows on the light sensor. 2. pH Measurement Range A. Set the pH/C button on the back to the PH position. B. Insert the probe vertically into the soil; testing should be performed as soon as possible.

C. Press the ON button to start the measurement.

D. The measured pH value will be displayed on the LCD screen.

E. Take multiple measurements to obtain the desired accurate value.

Note:

1) Insert the probe vertically into the middle edge of the plant stem.

2) Insert it gently into the soil to avoid damaging the probe.

3) If the soil being tested is too dry or fertile and the pH value cannot be accurately measured, the user can water it and measure again after half an hour.

Soil pH classification: 4.5 is extremely acidic, 4.5-5.5 is strongly acidic, 5.5-6.5 is acidic, 6.5-7.5 is neutral, 7.5-8.5 is alkaline, 8.5-9.5 is strongly alkaline, and 9.5 is extremely alkaline.

3. Soil Moisture Measurement

A. Set the pH/C button on the back to the C position.

B. Insert the probe into the soil as vertically as possible.

C. Press the ON button to start the measurement.

D. The soil moisture content will be displayed on the LCD screen.
