The CH552 is an enhanced E8051 core microcontroller, compatible with the MCS51 instruction set, but with 8 to 15 times faster instruction execution. The core operates at 16MHz and 3.3V logic levels, and features 16KB of program Flash memory, 256 bytes of internal RAM, and 1KB of internal xRAM (xRAM supports DMA).
It also boasts clever features such as four built-in ADC channels, capacitive touch support, three timer/PWM channels, and hardware UART, SPI, and full-speed USB device controllers. The USB controller means it can function as a native USB device, such as a CDC serial port or a mouse/keyboard HID device.
It features a STEMMA QT connector-a cascaded I2C interface compatible with all STEMMA QT sensors and accessories. Additionally, we've added an RGB NeoPixel LED, a reset button, and a bootloader button.
Please note: This compact development board uses an 8-bit 8051 processor. It's a minimalist 8-bit microcontroller; it cannot run CircuitPython or MicroPython, nor can it truly run .
