- The MT6825 is a third-generation magnetic angle encoder chip, based on anisotropic magnetoresistive (AMR) technology and proprietary signal processing technology to achieve absolute angle measurement from 0 to 360°.
- The chip consists of a pair of AMR Wheatstone bridges and a signal processing ASIC circuit. As the magnetic field parallel to the chip surface rotates, the chip outputs a corresponding encoded angle signal with a signal delay as low as less than 2µs. User can also read the angle data calculated internally by the chip via a high-speed SPI interface.
- Compared to traditional Hall effect sensors, AMR angle sensors operate in the saturation region, reducing the requirements for the magnetic field and making installation easier for customers.
- The MT6825 is available in a TSSOP-16 package and can simultaneously output ABZ, UVW, and SPI signals, making it widely applicable in various consumer and industrial fields such as motor position feedback control and rotation control.
