Went to major DIY centre to look for basin tap and all out of stock in store and online. New style I wanted so came home and searched internet. Never known about OnBuy.com but so glad I found it. The very same tap at a 1/5th of the cost AND it included required pipes and FREE postage that arrived within 3 days. Can't wait to scour the site for more bargains and more work for my husband. Very pleased. Thank you and will recommend to family and friends

I bought this tap for my son in law, as a stop gap until he was able to buy the expensive "waterfall" tap that he had seen in a local diy store. His old bathroom sink tap was leaking when the hot tap was opened and he had to place a flannel around it to stop water cascading over the basin edge. At the price it was I thought it would be plastic with a chrome type finish, but, no, it is heavy metal, brass maybe and the chrome is like a mirror, superbly shiny. Fitting was a breeze, I did use PTFE tape on the opposite end of the flexible pipes onto the hot and cold water pipes, just to be safe because he has isolation valves and not the usual 1/2" BSP tapered thread couplings. No problem, they took up fine and not a drop of water spilt. James, my son in law was so impressed with the look, feel and the finish of the tap, that he has shelved the idea of a waterfall tapand is going to find a matching bath tap to compliment his "brilliant" basin tap. Well done me, and well done OnBuy for a super find.

This tap is a good product. It’s not a solid metal but light. Probably plastic. Looks good and does the job. You get what you pay for.
