The P2S printer adopts an internal circulation type chamber air treatment design by default, relying an internal activated carbon filter to achieve chamber air filtration. The external exhaust fan kit provides a solution for users with strict external exhaust requirements. After installing the external exhaust fan kit, P2S will add active external exhaust function.
After installing the kit, P2S will have automatic air purification function after printing is completed. For engineering materials that require sealed printing (such as ABS, PA, etc.), enable "purify air at the end of printing" in the printer screen settings. P2S will automatically turn the exhaust mode after printing is completed to completely exhaust residual gas.
Notes:
1.Before formal installation, the following software version upgrades must be completed to ensure device compatibility:
The firmware version of the printer needs to be upgraded to 01.01.01.00 or above;
Bambu Studio needs to be updated to V2.4.1.80 and higher versions;
Bambu Handy needs to be updated to V3.11.0 and higher versions.
2. The outer casing of the exhaust fan needs to be printed by oneself, and the printed model can be found the installation tutorial website.
