First, ensure your NFC-enabled smartphone can read the original access card using MCT Android.

Some access control systems (such as Comelit and Intratone) detect duplicate access cards by incrementing an access counter and may deactivate the original access card and/or its copy. To identify the counter, you need to make two consecutive backups (dumps) of the original access card (before and after your visit to the building) and compare them with MCT (edit the dump file and then compare). If the two backups are inconsistent, the system will perform a counter check.

To write the dump (clone), click "Show Options" and select two options before writing the access card; otherwise, badge rewriting cannot be guaranteed to succeed.

When writing a blank badge for the first time, the MCT application often receives the following error message: Error: Some errors occurred during the writing process… Just repeat the operation to succeed: …Write successful…
